======= IMPORTANT INFORMATION, PLEASE READ ==========
These are the instructions for filling out the Borland Language
Bug Report form. The bug report form itself is TI1226.ZIP. This
can be obtained a number of ways:
Internet:
ftp.borland.com/pub/techinfo/techdocs/language/c++/bcpp/ti
Compuserve:
BCPPWIN LIB-2 (or BCPPDOS LIB-2)
Borland BBS:
408-431-5096 (14.4k bps N81) From the main menu select
'Files', then select 'Upload' and specify area 122 for
Language Bug Reports. Pick a filename with the extension
.BUG)
Before submitting a bug report you need to have a PIN number. If
you don't have one, you can call 1-800-523-7070 to get one. If
you have lost or forgotten your PIN number, please call the
above telephone number for assistance.
======= Before You Begin ========
The answers to the questions must be in a specific format. The
question will always be of the following format:

Because this form is electronically processed it is very
important not to modify or delete any part of this form.
There are two types of answers that are expected from a
question.
1. A short answer on the line following the question

2. Choose from a list of possible answers.

Here are some examples of each type of question with an
appropriate answer for each one:

4. Borland PIN Number
This is the Personal Identification Number assigned to you
by Borland Technical Support. If you don't have one, or
have forgotten your PIN number please call 1-800-523-7070.

5. Voice Number
A phone number where you can be reached by voice. It should
be in the form ###-###-####
example: 408-555-9843
6. Fax Number
A phone number where you can receive a fax transmission.
example: 408-555-9844
7. Internet E-mail Address
This is an e-mail address of the form
username@host.domain.ext Please contact your on-line service
or system administrator if you do not have this information.
If your CIS ID is 77777,4444 then your Internet e-mail
address would be: 77777.4444@compuserve.com
8. Preferred method of contact (choose only one):

This is the method by which Borland will contact and send
you information regarding your bug report.
9. Borland Bug Number (if you are updating an existing bug):
If you have already submitted a bug report and are updating
that bug, please enter the Bug Number assigned by Borland
below.

This is the platform on which the final program you are

The version of Win32s can be found in the win32s.ini file
located in the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. Inside the
win32s.ini contains a section as follows:

Note: If you are using OS/2, please specify which version of
OS/2 and which version of Windows you are using.
14. The filename, time, and date of compiler (bcc.exe, bcw.exe,
tp.exe, delphi.exe)?
This includes command-line and IDE compilers. For example:

22. MSD Machine Information Report (run msd /S from DOS):
To get this report, simply type MSD /S at the command
prompt. MSD is shipped with all Microsoft DOS 5.x and later
and all Microsoft Windows 3.1 and later. If you don't have
MSD, please go to questions 23, 24 instead.
23. Total RAM (i.e. 12 MB)
Enter the amount of RAM (in megabytes) you have on your
system.
24. Hard disk space: Total/Available (i.e. 250/50)
Please list the partitions/drives, the total amount of space
each has, and how much is available.

25. Listing of CONFIG.SYS:
Copy the current contents of your CONFIG.SYS below.

In order to help decrease the response time, we have automated

parts of the bug reporting process. In order to take advantage
of this, we ask that you submit the report via one of the three
following ways:
1. Internet EMAIL (sent to 75300.1653@compuserve.com)
2. Compuserve mail (sent to 75300,1653)
3. Our local BBS (uploaded to 408-431-5096. From the main
menu select 'Files', then select 'Upload' and specify area
122 for Language Bug Reports. Pick a filename with the
extension .BUG)
Faxes and US Mail will still be accepted, but with a lower
priority and will take longer to process. For prompt results
use any of the three methods listed above.
